Poem In Which She Meets Denis Norden

she once met………………………………………………………………….in a bank

denis norden………………………………………………………………….you met denis norden

in a bank……………………………………………………………………….denis norden

she says met………………………………………………………………….strangers would exclaim

he was in a queue……………………………………………………………for weeks months years

she was at the back…………………………………………………………but

overdrawn……………………………………………………………………who was denis norden

planning her excuses……………………………………………………..they might say and they do

norden nose…………………………………………………………………no-one knows of norden

norden glasses……………………………………………………………..where she lives now

almost certainly norden…………………………………………………the bank

what he did and when…………………………………………………….is no longer

she can’t recall……………………………………………………………..the bank

the bank………………………………………………………………………she can’t recall

is no longer………………………………………………………………….what he did and when

the bank……………………………………………………………………..almost certainly norden

where she lives now……………………………………………………..norden glasses

no-one knows of norden………………………………………………..norden nose

they might say and they do……………………………………………planning her excuses

who was denis norden…………………………………………………..overdrawn

but…………………………………………………………………………….she was at the back

for weeks months years…………………………………………………he was in a queue

strangers would exclaim……………………………………………….she says met

denis norden………………………………………………………………she once met

you met denis norden………………………………………………….denis norden

in a bank……………………………………………………………………in a bank
